The Good Shepherd Center Board of Directors is pleased to announce that 56 households were provided with emergency assistance for utility bills in the first three months of 2025. These vouchers totaled $8,319.89 dollars to prevent shut offs during our winter months.
Board President, Mike Engelhaupt said, “I want thank our generous donors and businesses who joined the Good Shepherd Center to address this critical need in Monroe County’.
The need will continue as we transition from heating to cooling in the coming months. You can join us in this critical effort by directing your contribution specifically to our energy program. Donations are also accepted to the general fund for food, medical and dental services. Donations can be made through our website: www.goodshepherdcenter.net or sending a check to Good Shepherd Center, Box 353, Madisonville, TN 37354
The Good Shepherd Center has two additional opportunities to support our programs by either purchasing a ticket to the outdoor concert on June 28 at the Tellico Village Yacht Club or purchasing a ticket to our annual fundraising Gala on August 9 at the Cora Veal Event Center in Madisonville.
